WHY CHOOSE OURÂ CANDLES?
Our candles are made using both 100% soy wax and a soy/coconut wax blend, meaning they are free from paraffin and other harmful chemicals/additives which can be found in other candle waxes. Our candles are especially safe and suitable in a home with children and pets, as there are no harsh chemicals being emitted into the air upon burning.
WHY DOES THE SURFACE OF MY CANDLE CHANGE AFTER BEING LIT?
Our candles are free from harsh chemicals, additives and preservatives and therefore may be subject to the natural process of crystallisation, which occurs when the surface of melted wax is cooling at various rates, causing its exterior to appear slightly "frosted" or "bumpy" once cooled. This is coherent with the nature of soy wax and does not affect the function/strength of the candle whatsoever.
SHOULD I TRIM MY WICKS? IF SO, HOW OFTEN?
As the wicks are made from a paper/cotton blend (opposed to lead) they may have a mushrooming effect after long burns. To ensure a clean burn every time, be sure to trim the wicks after each use. By trimming your wicks you can avoid soot from forming around the edges of your candle and potential hazards which may occur upon the incorrect/inappropriate use of candles.
HOW LONG CAN I BURN MY CANDLES FOR?/WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE LIGHTING CANDLES?
It is recommended that large candles burn no longer 3.5-4 hours. Smaller candles should be burning for 1.5-2 hours or until a full melt-pool is achieved. Allowing your candle to reach a full-melt pool before extinguishing, can help to avoid tunneling and ensures a clean and even burn every time.

DO NOT leave a burning candle unattended. Only light candle on a heat-safe surface. Trim wicks after each use. Keep burning candles out of reach from children or pets. DO NOT move or handle a burning candle. Avoid exposure to drafts or direct sunlight. DO NOT burn for more than 4 hours.
